Principal's Message

Welcome to Russell Elementary!

Whether you are returning to Russell Elementary or joining our school community for the first time, we are so glad you're here!

My name is Marti Paugh, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Russell Elementary. I have been part of the Kalispell Public Schools community since 2015, serving as a business teacher at Flathead High School, assistant principal at Edgerton Elementary, and assistant principal at Kalispell Middle School. Joining the Russell Elementary family is truly a dream come true.

Russell Elementary is built on a strong partnership between students, families, and staff. Together, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn. We believe every student deserves a place where they belong and can thrive.

There are many opportunities for families to become involved in our school community, and we encourage you to join us in whatever way works best for your family. Your partnership is an important part of what makes Russell such a special place.
